Rustum Kozain
Biographical info
Born 10 August 1966 in Paarl, Kozain studied at the University of Cape Town.
He spent ten months in the United States in 1994 on a Fulbright Scholarship. He lectured in literary studies, film, and creative writing at the English Department of UCT from 1998 till 2004.
His poetry has appeared in several magazines locally and abroad. His first collection, This Carting Life, appeared in 2005. It won the Ingrid Jonker and the Olive Schreiner Prize.
