Growing up in Harare, Sibusiswe Dhuwe wanted to be everything that was famous, fabulous and downright fanciful: a ballet star, a singer, an actor, a lawyer (like the ones in L. A. Law, not real life), a giant, a fairy queen, one of the Von Trapp Family Singers.
Never once did she think she would be a writer even though her one constant passion was books. After studying Law, and Diplomatic Studies, a brief stint as a PR and Legal Officer for a gold-mining company, Dhuwe packed it all in and became a full-time writer. Nine years and various publications later, Sibusiswe Dhuwe divides her time between Harare, Joburg, and the rest of the world.
Sibusiswe Dhuwe is a pseudonym.
